Lunch & Learn this week will be on Thursday, October 8th, at 12pm over Zoom. Our speaker is Sally Goodman, who is currently Newmont’s Global Chief Geologist. Her talk is entitled, "Being a geologist in exploration and mining - past, present, and future?".

As I'm sure you're all well aware, the Colorado School of Mines has taken several recent precautions toward the COVID-19 virus. In light of this, we have canceled all of the remaining Lunch and Learns and will not be running any additional trips/short courses this semester.

We will not be having a Lunch and Learn this week (March 5th). Our first Lunch and Learn for this month will be held on March 12th in Berthoud Hall Room 109. Attached is the Lunch and Learn schedule for this month.

We are very fortunate to have Dr. Brett Davis hosting a short course on the "Structural Controls of Mineral Deposits". The course is open to all who RSVP. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
