I wrote this in my greenhouse. I blasted Taylor Swift and blocked out the world and churned out chapter after chapter trying to bring my MC’s together when it felt like an impossible task. I loved writing this so much and hope people like reading it.

@BookConvos @ChristinaBooks I just want to say this is emphatically false. All my children are ‘good’ and I worry about ALL of them. I spend days working out seating plans to benefit all my children. I’m sorry people had a negative experience in their school days, but it’s so much different now.x

I (currently teaching year 1) often put the ‘rowdy’ (ie. Loud) children (not making any gender assumptions, because wtf) next to the quiet ones to help them with their learning. The quiet ones are less inclined to talk, but the louder ones are not, and talk for learning works.

@RNAtweets hold their annual book awards in May and give out prizes for romance novels in ten categories with a red carpet ceremony. It’s the only reader judged awards of its kind and it’s all about romance 💕

My 11 year old niece’s list included: £124 bisou hair oils, £65 silk pyjamas, spaceNK makeup & a mini-fridge to store make-up. My 11 year old son, on the other hand, asked for Lego and Pokémon.

Sarah has a child in her class who is completely blind. She was insistent that he needed to be able to read his holiday card for himself. So, we picked up a braille slate and stylus online for a few pounds, and she’s spent the last half hour making him his own card. My heart 🥹

It's now several hours since the unforgivably weak #COP28 draft text came out - which made no reference to fossil fuel phase-out at all, & leaders from France, Germany, EU, US & small island states have all widely condemned - yet still utter silence from UK Govt. Where are they??
