@seidcr The Turbos mentioned outside of a lacrosse context in the big 2026? Woke indeed. Hopeful for a new identity, but really just hopeful it connects back to the city in some way and not some abstract idea that means nothing here.

@EricsOpinion94 I’m unsure why you’re under the impression that I’m whining about it. Vipers is a cool name and has good history, but in this situation it’s important for a team that will be historically iconic to get their own name and build their own reputation behind it

@seidcr Cry about it some more…the Detroit Vipers name and logo is something many people (who were obviously born before you and went to vipers games) cling to and would support like no other. I don’t understand how being named after an old team from a defunct league is so horrible
