In an article I wrote and published on the 28th of August 2025, I expressed my concerns on the fragmentation of the left axis in South Africa. I argued that the fragmentation of the progressive left is due to lack of leadership. I have been closely observing the proceedings of the so-called "Conference of the Left" convened by the SACP.
