Great way to end the fall season. Here are some highlights. This fall I had a batting average of .403 with a SLG of .677!!! I had 15 singles, 6 doubles, 1 triple, and 3 home runs!! With summer wrapping up I wanted to reflect on my summer season. Unfortunately I started the season with a shoulder injury but ending strong at nationals batting .385. I had so much fun with Illinois Select and looking forward to the next season.

@SCFastpitch33 For the record, I have personally made 0 money in 5 yrs of running an organization and in fact have spent every $ that comes into the organization on the kids and my own money as well for the kids. Not all heads of organizations make money. Some do it correctly I assume.

I can not believe that travel softball has got to the point that parents are paying close to $3,000 to play rec ball. Wake up people! The only people getting rich are heads of organizations and instructors that have no idea what they are doing. Kids are not being helped! Sad

We ask our players to get 1% better every day and that should go for coaches as well. There is always time to learn and get better, even for our coaches. Learning from some of the best coaches in the country today. Knowledge is power. Go Select!!!

Select Thursday night practice. We focused on pushing through the ball using heel- toe and staying low. Great job girls. Practice has been intense, but fun 3 days a week. I can't wait to see these girls in the Spring. Also thanks to MVP for their partnership & great facility.

Select would like to extend a giant congratulations to Adrianna Pope for committing to Benedictine University. 🎉. We will miss you greatly on & off the field. Benedictine is getting a heck of a softball player and a great kid. Good luck at college, we will be cheering for you!!
