For 6 months I worked alongside six student athletes selected for a leadership cohort to deliver a summit to fellow student athletes @NISDBrennan. All week I was nervous and excited. So happy to see all our hard work pay off, it was an honor to do this alongside all of you. Thanks for the support @coach_dahle and Coach G @softballbrennan. @Bombers_16u

Not the ending we hoped for, as our season came to a close in the State Semifinals against the reigning state champions. Our hearts are heavy, not just because we were right there, but because this journey together has come to an end. For four and a half months, we’ve been inseparable. Practices. Games. Film sessions. Meetings. Early mornings. Late nights. The wins, the setbacks, the tears, the laughter, the exhaustion, and the joy…we experienced every moment side by side. So waking up knowing it’s over hits differently. But when the disappointment settles, pride rises. This team accomplished what many only dream of. A State Semifinal appearance. A sisterhood built on resilience. A season filled with growth, grit, and unforgettable memories. Through the ups and downs, this group chose to compete, to believe, and to stay connected. That’s what made it special. To our seniors thank you for your leadership and heart. To our returners the standard has been raised. And to our incredible supporters thank you for packing gyms, traveling miles, and pouring love into this team. We felt you every step of the way. San Antonio, we did this together. This wasn’t the ending we wanted but it was an amazing ride. And the joy, the fight, and the pride will last far beyond this final game.
