She was in a pedestrian tunnel when she encountered Yazied Mohamed, an 18 year old Eritrean refugee. He raped her. She reported it immediately. He was found guilty and sentenced to three years in prison. You would have thought that he would be deported afterwards. But no, the Swedish court ruled that although the crime was serious “the duration of the attack” was not long enough to warrant deportation. Yes, you heard that correctly. She was not raped for long enough. So Mohamed remains in Sweden.

That this is the evolution of a ‘free’ society. But where is the freedom in a society which pressures the vulnerable to die against their will?
