I love my mom but I genuinely think she hates me sometimes with the way she refuses to let me get an autism assessment even though my therapist thinks I’m probably autistic and the place I go to fully offers assessments and I have a 12 page document on why I think I’m autistic

@semeslop ugh im so sorry you have to through that, it’s definitely not selfish of you to want an assessment ESPECIALLY after making a whole 12 page doc and talking to a therapist who even said that you probably are?? it’s super weird that she won’t let you get a diagnosis ☹️

But my MOTHER refuses to see me as anything other than selfish when I ask for the tiniest accommodation (which is just being told what we’re going to do before we go out and sticking to that plan MOSTLY) and it hurts so bad Ihate this On the bright side thoughI lost my appetite

I’m so upset because this is already really difficult for me to talk about like I cried uncontrollably (for the first time ever) infront of my therapist of 2 yrs when I first mentioned that I think I might be autistic
