A few weeks ago, my dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. I won’t lie—it's been incredibly challenging for me and my family. Now, I’m embarking on a journey to answer the questions so many of us face when it comes to providing care for our loved ones. I hope you’ll join me.

Pete Hegseth has a problem with women. Particularly women in combat roles. From blocking promotions of qualified servicewomen to launching a bogus study on the “effectiveness” of women in combat, he's shown more interest in attacking women than protecting our national security.

It was wonderful to see Big Brothers Big Sisters of Essex, Hudson, and Union Counties at the Capitol this week.   Thank you for bringing hope and mentorship to over 5,000 New Jersey students and congratulations on receiving the 2026 Agency of the Year award.   It's great to see New Jersey honored in this way for the first time in 125 years. What an accomplishment!

It was great to meet with Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, former NBA player, to discuss the Kidd's Stuttering Act. Michael, thank you for being an inspiration and for using your platform to help others. It's my honor to introduce this legislation in the Senate to help children who stutter receive early intervention and Medicaid and CHIP coverage for speech-therapy.

We must take the next step to deliver care to our country. I can’t think of a better place to start than with our kids.

Today is Brian Sicknick Day in NJ. Brian was a U.S. Capitol Police Officer who defended the Capitol and our democracy on January 6, 2021, and died after being brutally attacked. I've gotten to know Brian's family since that horrific day. The stories I've heard about Brian are a reminder of the importance of service and the impact even one person can have. He made our state and country proud.

I’ve worked in the Situation Room and seen the critical role the DNI plays in our national security.   We don’t need yet another “yes man” to this president.   That’s why I voted against Jay Clayton.

Everyone should have the freedom to decide when and if to start a family. I sat down with @reproforall to discuss the state of abortion access nationally and how we can work together to enshrine federal protections for reproductive healthcare.

Like most parents, I have a lot of anxiety about keeping my two boys safe from dangers online as they grow up in a world full of ever-evolving technology. We owe it to parents and kids to put guardrails in place against invasive child data collection before more harm is done. That's why I introduced the Digital Age Assurance Act alongside @senadamschiff, @SenLummis, and @senjohnbarrasso to puts kids’ data privacy first. Congress and tech companies must do their part to make online spaces safer for our kids.

This is horrific news. My heart is with the families and loved ones of those who were killed as well as those who were injured, and the entire community who is feeling the pain of this violence. I am deeply grateful for the efforts of our local police, first responders, and the staff at Harborview. I am continuing to follow the situation closely. I am hopeful the perpetrators will be brought to justice as quickly as possible.

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is a landmark civil rights law that has helped millions of people with disabilities and their families live safe, healthy, and fulfilling lives.   In honor of the 36th anniversary of the ADA, I’m proud to lead 29 of my Senate colleagues in a resolution honoring the disability community and this historic legislation.   The ADA represents the floor, not the ceiling, and we must continue to push back against harmful efforts, including the DOJ’s effort to roll back the 1999 U.S. Supreme Court's "Olmstead" decision, which affirmed the ADA's all-important "integration mandate."

I recently spoke with NephCure about their work on rare kidney diseases.   We need to increase access to early diagnosis and educate medical providers on the best treatments.   We should always think about how to increase access to care so all Americans can live healthy lives.
