A few weeks ago, my dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. I won’t lie—it's been incredibly challenging for me and my family. Now, I’m embarking on a journey to answer the questions so many of us face when it comes to providing care for our loved ones. I hope you’ll join me.

I recently visited the U.S. Coast Guard Training Center in Cape May, NJ to meet with recruits and see the upgrades they are making to their facilities.   I’m proud that all Coast Guard recruits come through New Jersey and I’m thankful for their service to our country.

It's always a joy to sit down with the interns in my D.C. office as they present policy solutions for issues they care about. From long-term care shortages to homelessness, I walked away inspired by their ideas to address these issues. Thank you for all your hard work this summer!

Cape May was home to Harriet Tubman during the early 1850s as she worked to fund Underground Railroad rescue missions. 

I’m proud to have secured $1 million in federal funding to help the Harriet Tubman Museum digitize historical archives and share NJ’s abolitionist history.

It was great to visit and learn about how the community came together to restore the building and open the museum for all to experience.

Small businesses are essential to our shore communities. I visited downtown Avalon to hear about how they are dealing with high costs and inflation. 

It’s a wonderful time to visit the Jersey shore and support the local businesses that make our communities so special!

It was great to spend time in Cape May, a true Jersey gem! 

Thanks to Cape May MAC for showing me around several historic landmarks, including the Emlen Physick Estate, and teaching the community about Cape May’s history and culture as part of the Jersey shore.

It’s been great to host the World Cup in New Jersey and see the joy it’s brought communities across our state. 

I’ll be tuning in to the final today and can’t wait to see a great match between Spain and Argentina!

My heart is with the families of the two American service members killed in an Iranian attack in Jordan. I grieve for them alongside their loved ones. I am also thinking of those who are missing and injured, hoping for a quick recovery. We have to get our soldiers out of harms way and end this war.

Cathedral Kitchen provides meals, housing assistance, and job training to the Camden community.   It was powerful to hear from the staff, culinary program graduates, and the people they serve about the community and support they've found here.

I'm helping to build an Einstein Corridor that will keep New Jersey on the cutting edge of technology and innovation.   That's why I visited Subaru's headquarters in Camden – to hear from workers about the impact of tariffs and our country's reputation on their global business.

Yesterday, I stood alongside @AFGENational and former State Department employees who were fired by Trump last year.   I remember that day vividly and I remember thinking, this is no way to treat people who served our nation.   We must lead with service and expertise, not chaos.

Last night was 25 minutes of conspiracy theories from a man who still can’t get over 2020.

Not one word about your rent, groceries, or health care.

Here’s the truth: his own administration moved to gut the very programs that protect our elections. His lies are the point — it’s how he tries to justify taking over election systems ahead of the midterms in order to hold onto power.

He’s afraid he’s going to lose, but we’re focused on you.

It was great to meet with Korean American Civic Empowerment (KACE) high school students to hear about what motivates and draws them to public service.   From tackling inequality to investing in education, these are the future leaders of our country who will make it happen!

When we invest in civic education for kids starting at a young age, we raise responsible and engaged adults. It was important to meet with iCivics, especially as we celebrate America's 250th birthday, to talk about what we need to do to make an impact in NJ classrooms.

From accessing veteran benefits to getting help filing taxes, no one should be denied critical assistance or resources because of language barriers. The purpose of government is to help people. That's why I introduced the Language Access for All Act alongside @maziehirono to protect and expand language translation services within federal agencies, ensuring that every person in this country can access the help they need.
