Kahiga's resignation as Vice Chair of the Council of Governors is a step in the right direction...as his apology. In my view the reasons for his resignation apply mutatis mutandis to his governorship. He must resign!

Raila Odinga was the great son of the soil. He MUST be honored in every way possible to make him a memorable leader of our time. Even if it means erecting his statue at Parliament, KICC or even at the peak of Mt. Kenya, let it be done. Kenya was blessed to have politicians, but it was blessed more to have a POLITICIAN in the name of Raila Amolo Odinga. Long live the King.

Rigathi Gachagua's camp is trying to divert the country's attention from the silly joke he made about Raila's health being the deterrent for him going to mourn and send off Raila.
Gachagua knows what he did was wrong and unforgivable. It was beneath his stature as a leader to mock the health of another leader.
He is now blaming it on Raila's followers. Saying they had planned on meting violence on him.
Gachagua was with Kalonzo when he made that silly joke, Kalonzo never said a word about Raila's health. Kalonzo has nothing to fear because he knows he did not cross the line.
Gachagua's mouth just like his supporters is his detriment. It is his mouth that led to his fallout with Uhuru Kenyatta, It is his mouth that has made him hide in shame cooking narratives to save face.
You are a leader, speak and act like one.
