And that's 10 hours or more of that artist's life he or she is putting into YOUR request that they could easily refuse in favor of someone more amicable. The lovely part about freelancing in a free market is that you, a consumer, are not entitled to the services offered by agents of the market. They can turn you down (for any reason btw) just as easily as you can go find someone else. My past comms have been incredibly cheap by comparison but I also pay attention to the clients demeanor; if they are a particularly nasty person like yourself, I have no issue telling them to pound sand. Also $300 isn't even that much if said artist has no other form of income (freelancing). My comm prices were low because I have a full time job and comm money was for fun or food. Learn to draw if you hate it so much.

@sengote sorry i cant recommend a tablet for you, because im using my 10 year old laptop. its got a touchscreen. ive never gotten anywhere with my art so i have no reason to buy a tablet, let alone be able to afford one. hope you can find a deal out there though!
