@SpursOfficial Why sell Johnson before getting a replacement, already struggling to fill positions. Typical Spurs, top clubs would have waited before selling.
Even after 9 operational tours in Afghanistan and Iraq nothing has prepared Jason for a morning volunteering with Pete. Fantastic progress is being made on the halfway house.
The derelict hedge at the back of 17 has been removed, we will be re-establishing more runoff around the back but plant some smaller trees so the view to sunbank is not obscured. We'll double what we have removed and improve playability.
Rock hard ground conditions are helping as we are removing all the big limbs and low level limbs from yesterday's chainsaw work. We've opened up some shots off the tee and into a couple of greens, more chainsaw work on Monday morning.
@VLGCgreens As an angry golfer myself, I take it out on my equipment as to be honest it’s usually its fault. No excuse for this, wonder if the same person played the same 2 days.
As it's mainly members playing this week due to last week's work please can anyone who played yesterday or on Sunday help me narrow the time down so the perpetrator can be identified.
14th hole Sunday
8th hole Wednesday
I'm sad to report that we have had 2 incidents this week of what can only be classed as moronic. The first picture shows how well the surface is healing post maintenance the other 2 show we have at least one issue that needs finding.
Maintenance update, All greens cored with 8mm tines at 1.5 inch spacing. The baroness core collector was unbelievable and all cores picked up on the Monday. We've topdressed 40 tonnes of sand in, double sarel rolled and seeded with 16kg of creeping bent.
