70 yrs ago this Oct., my parents, then in high school, had 2 leave their homeland, China, 2 escape the Communists. In the mid-1980s, Mom had written about being a refugee student from 1948-53. The manuscript’s now published by a leading publisher in Taiwan. Proud of you, Mom!
