Fentanyl overdose remains the leading cause of death for Americans ages 18 to 45.   That’s why I supported the HALT Fentanyl Act, now law, to help stop the flow of fentanyl into America and hold the criminals who bring it into our neighborhoods accountable. The Working Families @TaxCuts Act included major investments in border security, and it’s delivered results.   Zero illegal immigrants have been released into the U.S. over the last 11 months—a dramatic reversal from the 10+ million Democrats let in.

It was an honor to spend time with Sam Chapman, father of Sammy Chapman, whose son tragically lost his life after an accidental drug overdose involving drugs sold through social media. Sammy’s Law would help parents better protect their children online, save lives, and ensure Sammy’s story leads to lasting change for families across the country.

The attempted violence last night at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner should never happen in America. Thank God for the Secret Service and all law enforcement who kept the President, Vice President, and attendees safe. We must find a way to come together as a nation. God bless America.

Bad actors are using AI to prey on older Ohioans and steal their savings. I introduced the Preventing Deep Fake Scams Act to protect seniors and crack down on this fraud.

It is National Infertility Awareness Week. Millions of Americans are navigating the challenges of infertility and the many unique paths to building a family. I am proud to support legislation like the RESTORE Act, which expands research into underlying health issues, including issues like endometriosis, which is a leading cause of infertility in the United States. Each family’s story is different, and I believe it is important to expand and support research into the causes of infertility.

Fraud has run rampant in our country—costing taxpayers and exploiting innocent Americans. I met with a mother who lost her son to sextortion.   I’m leading Sammy’s Law to help prevent these tragedies by giving parents the tools to know when their children are in danger on social media platforms.

At my Husted Huddle, I heard directly from manufacturers, physical therapists, hospital leaders, and others about how we can keep Ohio leading the way.   Meeting face-to-face with Ohioans each week is always one of the highlights of my time in D.C.

Senate Democrats are trying to take us back to Biden-era border chaos, when more than 10 million people came into our country illegally.

We have a clear contrast here: Democrats want to defund the police and allow criminal illegal immigrants to remain in our country and continue committing crimes. Republicans are standing with law enforcement and protecting Americans.

My goal is to help working families get ahead.   That’s why I voted to make child care more affordable and accessible for parents.
