U19 squad is out Don’t know what is going on with Andrej Bačanin (Basel) but he is not on the list for U19 or U21. Maksimović & Milosavljević are back to U19 to help their generation to rich the EURO’s. Louis Zečević-John (Arsenal) is also on the list while Edward Ibrović-Fletcher (Leeds) wasn’t called by Gordan (U19) or Milan (U18), strange. Great squad list, only Vasa and Andrej are missing. Difficult group but good luck to our boys!

In the defensive midfield position, I think we have some very interesting prospects who could definitely make their way onto Veljko’s list in a few years. I’m not sure if I’ve forgotten anyone, but I believe these five players are the most interesting at the moment: - Mirza Ćatović (Stuttgart) - Dušan Makević (Teleoptik) - Luka Vulin (Union Berlin) - Dragan Anokić (Crvena Zvezda) - Samin Mujević (Mälmo) I’m talking about classic No. 6.

Goalkeepers: A-. Our strongest trio, not counting Svilar. Defenders: C+. Only one natural left-back. Eraković and Veljković haven’t exactly impressed this season, but without Milosavljević, current options are limited. Avdić’s time is coming. Midfielders: B+. There’s still some deadweight, like N. Maksimović and Petrović. But Stanković, Lukić, Sergej, Lazar, Stanić and of course Kostov form a strong new core. Only A. Maksimović remains to be added in the near future, and hopefully one more quality defensive midfielder. Wingers: C-. Birmančević is the only one worth anything there. Kostić is past it. Gaćinović is not it. Živković will return next time. Could be worth trying Samardžić in a false wide role. I would've tried Cvetković on the left. Missed opportunity IMO. Attackers: C. Ratkov hasn’t really earned a call on form this time. Joveljić deserves a call, but I don’t think he adds much to the NT. Mitrović’s time should be coming to an end. Vlahović is injured. I would’ve called Ivanović and Ilić myself.

@serboscout Best player in the league by far. He should play for u17. How is Gabriel Rajkovic considered for senior national team, exactly. Quality matters, not the age.

U17 squad list is on David Vajagić (Wolfsburg) is new/old name on the FSS lists. He was part of U15 team when he was at TSC but with his EU passport, he moved abroad. Gabriel Rošković (Zürich, LB) is not on the list. Adrian Stanković (Rapid Wien, CM) is back although he is 2010 & he also plays for U16 Rapid. Tadija is again on the list. Materazzi is not 🤔 Matanović & Fekete are the youngest on the list from domestic league. Very tough opponents, match with Switzerland most likely decides the passage.
