The National Irrigation Authority (NIA), CEO Eng. Charles Muasya, MBS, hosted Paul Limoh, CEO of Tana River Sugar Company, alongside senior officers from both organizations at NIA Head Office for a signing of lease agreement of 50,000 acres within the Bura Irrigation Scheme.

Today, I had the privilege of being part of the team from the National Irrigation Authority that hosted the Head of the Government Delivery Unit, Olando Sitati, during an inspection tour of the Galana Kulalu Food Security Project across Kilifi County and Tana River County.

The Authority remains committed to fulfilling its mandate of providing efficient, responsive and quality services to all its stakeholders through sustained capacity building and strict adherence to the Customer Service Delivery Charter and other Corporate Communication tools.

The Authority’s CEO, Eng. Charles Muasya, MBS, emphasized the importance of excellent customer service delivery in ensuring that the Authority’s clients receive high-quality services from the staff.

During the sessions, staff were informed about the key provisions of the Authority’s Customer Service Delivery Charter, its core aspects and the expected deliverables aimed at ensuring all set targets are achieved.

The sensitization programme had earlier been conducted across all Authority's service centers including public irrigation schemes, research stations and regional offices.
