To all followers of serenacomics, This is Serenas family writing. Sadly, on the night of January 7th Serena took her own life. We are shattered to learn that she did this, because she didn't have to.

Personally I have had very helpful experiences with trans lifeline in the past- translifeline.org Their number is +18775658860 in the US and +18773306366 in Canada, it is run and staffed by trans people.

Speaking personally, as her older brother- I am trans too. I have struggled with mental illness for years as well, and suicidal thoughts. This is never inevitable. If you are feeling like life isn't worth living, please talk to someone.
