Ryan's almost 30, he will wake me up if he's anxious or upset, this is usually because theres a issue with a sky recording or he may become anxious over the news it can be anything a good night's sleep is around 6 hours and I cant complain because it could be worse,well last night was new , I guess at some point he woke up to check TV recordings, he comes into my room around 3 says dad "hdmi cable not working " im guessing there was a message on the screen so im about to get out of bed and go get the spare cable from the drawer, before I can he says....."I go sleep we fix it later" I was gobsmacked usually if theres a problem it has to be fixed straight away otherwise Ryan gets more and more anxious.....not last night.

Ryan's had a great day at his daycentre he cooked lunch popped his around the corner ever so briefly to listen to the man playing guitar decided it wasnt for him and went back watching you tube videos then he went for a walk to town with staff, when I went to pick him up he came out happy and smiling.

Good morning all its race week here in Cheltenham, Ryan's off for a drive up near the racecourse with his daycentre then a picnic in the park, sounds perfect, have a great day everyone.

Ryan had a absolutely fantastic time at Highgrove Gardens with his daycentre, he did have cake...and soup ...and his packed lunch, so for tea I gave him a really really small tea a few cheese biscuits and one piece of cheese...he wasn't happy.

Good morning all Ryan's off to Highgrove Gardens in Tetbury today with his daycentre, Highgrove Gardens is the kings private residence and Ryan's extremely excited and as always has asked the most important question....will there be cake? 🍰have a great day everyone.

For the last couple of weeks Ryan's been attending workshops with Gloucestershire Community Rail Partnership, they've been teaching Ryan how to safely book and take a railway trip, so as part of that they've been helping him book a trip to Birmingham to play golf, and tomorrow is the day he goes, its all very exciting Ryan's never done anything like this before, the aim of this is to help Ryan feel safe when going on the train and how to book a journey, just a few years ago Ryan wouldn't leave his daycentre he'd stay at the daycentre watching YouTube videos, Ryan's now not only joining in, but with help support and guidance hes now booking days out. How amazing is that.

Good morning all, Ryan's regular taxi driver and his wife are back and are picking Ryan up this morning, they moved taxi companies in order to keep to Ryan's routine after their previous employer lost the transport contract, Ryan's been up excited and ready to go since very early this morning.

I wanted to book something really special for Ryan's 30th in December, I thought of a cruise but the unpredictability of going that time of year was a problem, Ryan loves entertainment and dancing so has to be somewhere that has both during December, I asked Ryan, Ryan said butlins as we went lots when he was little, so I rang the inclusive team and booked the premium accommodation with premium Dining passes early check in and added passes so we can book the entertainment early, as its Christmas he'll be able to go to all the Christmas shows and pantomimes all the things he loves, oh I added drinks passes too, I dont drink alcohol but Ryan does, its going to be really strange going on holiday just before Christmas, Ryan's going to absolutely love it.

I was walking through town with Ryan holding his as always a d hes stimming to himself just repeating words excitedly he was excited as we were off to marks and Spencers to pick up some pizza, anyway there's this guy with his wife or girlfriend staring at us, hes so fixated on us that he didn't see the kerb and then fell over it lol

Good morning all, we are off to the cinema then 5 guys for lunch, Ryan loves it in there,he doesn't like waiting but in 5guys he can sit getting the peanuts out of the shells while the order is being prepared. Have a great day everyone.

Ryan unwrapped all his Christmas presents Christmas day, he didn't take any into his room, I dont put any in his room, instead I leave them in the corner of the front room, this way he'll go up and down the stairs pick something up look at it then put it back, when hes ready he will take it in his room, this is something we've been doing for years, putting all those new items in his room straight away will mean he'll take them out of the room, this way they go in his room when he's ready.

My darling Hindi neighbours, we communicate via care, mutual respect consideration and generosity, I take them gifts for Diwali and they bring me shortbread for Christmas. “Integration has failed” Has it f**k. I am so grateful for them ♥️
