Hi there, decided to drop a little intro about myself. I am Sergey, CEO and Founder of It's AI (its-ai.org, @ai_detection) - we're building #1 ai-detector and currently are the most accurate detector according to RAID benchmark (ACL paper, 2024). I started It's AI as a subnet 32 on #bittensor network about a year ago, and we've grown a lot since then. Before $dTao we had 1.77% of weights and currently, #SN32 is ranked as №25 out of 80 subnets by total tao marketcup. Today #ItsAI is already more than just a subnet, recently we set up ITSAI TECHNOLOGIES - FZCO - our legal entity in Dubai. By our measurements market size for AI detectors is about 3 billion dollars in just English-speaking countries and we’re going right for it. Background. Before founding It’s AI I worked as an ML engineer for more than 3 years, first 2 years in a bank field and then leading ML department in Saola at Singapore, where we were building AI driven real estate agents. Also, I have a lot of experience in algorithms and data structures - became a bronze-medalist on International Zhautykov Olympiad (IZhO) and won several national championships in computer science.

The enhancement introduces word-level analysis, enabling users to see which specific words contributed most to an AI probability score. Previously, the system provided an overall AI score for each document and sentence-level probabilities. The new functionality goes further by highlighting individual words that influence detection results, giving users greater clarity and transparency. Many detection tools on the market offer keyword-based “AI vocabulary” features, which rely on statistical frequency counts. These systems often highlight words based on whether they appear more commonly in AI-generated or human-written texts, sometimes flagging entirely human content as AI. “Statistic-based approaches are simple but not reliable, and they don’t explain why a checker classifies text as AI-generated,” said Sergey Volnov, CEO of It’s AI. “We developed a method that extracts from our detector the exact words it relies on in a specific context. This provides a more accurate and context-sensitive explanation of results.” Unlike conventional methods, the It’s AI system analyses the full text and highlights words dynamically, depending on their contextual contribution to the AI score. The same word may be flagged in one passage but ignored in another, reflecting its role within the broader sentence structure. This update has practical applications for a wide range of users. Writers, marketers, students, and educators can now identify precise edits that make AI-generated text appear more natural while preserving meaning. The feature also provides users with a new level of transparency, offering insight into how detection systems evaluate text rather than relying on a “black box” score. Beyond word-level highlights, the platform combines multiple tools in one solution, including plagiarism checking, batch uploads, document management, and shareable scan reports. According to the RAID benchmark, It’s AI maintains an accuracy rate of over 98%, outperforming other detectors such as GPTZero, Originality, and Copyleaks. For enterprise and institutional clients, It’s AI provides API access and a Zapier integration. The company has also announced that integrations with popular learning management systems (LMS) will be available soon, making the technology accessible directly from educational platforms."

It's AI is the most accurate AI detector in the world according to MGTD Benchmark (ICAIE, 2025)🎯 In this November we presented our paper "Towards Reliable Machine-Generated Text Detection: A Unified Benchmarking Framework" (MGTD) on the International Conference on AI in Education at Dubai. We've assembled over 15 different academia-known datasets, presented our own new dataset MIDAS and created the biggest benchmark for AI detectors evaluation up to date with more than 2M samples in the test set. Then we scored popular commercial AI detectors, including It's AI, and some open-sourced and compared them to each other. Here are the results: It's AI appeared to be the most accurate AI checker on average according to these 15 benchmarks, outperforming even popular commercial detectors like GptZero and Originality. In more than a half of considered datasets our Roc-Auc score showed a significant value of 95%+. It's AI will be piloting at Jess Dubai School🥳🎉 We've just committed on our first pilot with educational establishment - Jess Dubai School, top 15 school in Middle East (conferences sprint start showing the results). They will select a test group of teachers, who will be using It's AI on real students' works and compare it to their current AI detection solution. The pilot will start in January and last for one month.
