Keeping their fuel supply anchored to India strengthens our position as a primary regional energy supplier. We are making profit, not giving them profit, both are very different things. If India steps back, the vacuum will be filled by others, and they will gain the same leverage India chose to surrender. And facts matter: Diesel exported to Bangladesh is priced at $1.5 per barrel higher than the bulk refinery price at which fuel is sold to Indian OMCs for domestic consumption.
