Lynch's navigator is iconic and a pretty brilliant design, but I do prefer when artists portray them in a way like this; you can still clearly make out that this once was a human being.

Chani in pt 2 had her cake and wants to eat it too. She wants her people freed from subjugation without prophetic/bene gesserit meddling AND she wants Paul. I think it’s an inspired choice to have her decry the prophecy but willingly entangle herself in it because she is in love.
