my theory is that the Clark copy isn't just a random duplicate—it represents the version of Clark the Backrooms came to understand: someone defined by the pain he causes others. the turning point is when Clark lets the therapist leave and says they don't have to change. to me, that isn't him refusing to grow; it's the first time he stops hiding behind excuses and starts accepting responsibility for who he is. throughout the movie, Clark constantly projects his flaws onto other people instead of confronting them himself. acceptance is usually the first step toward real change, and that may be exactly what the copy feared. if the copy is made from Clark's worst qualities, then Clark choosing to face himself would threaten its existence. the more Clark changes, the less power that darker version of him has. that's why i think the copy killed the real Clark—not out of revenge, but to make sure he never got the chance to become someone different. #Backrooms

People on TikTok are claiming Curry Barker used a REAL billion dollars in cash for Ian's ceiling drop scene in Obsession. 😭 Please use your brains, I beg of you. A physical billion dollars in $100 bills weighs exactly 22,000 POUNDS. That is 11 TONS of raw paper. If Focus Features actually poured 11 tons of legal tender through a standard residential ceiling, Ian wouldn't be rich, he would be flat-out flattened by structural collapse. The entire movie was shot on a micro-budget of $750,000. The crew couldn't even afford the armored semi-truck convoy required to haul 11 tons of federal currency to the set, let alone the private army needed to guard it. To make it worse, people in the replies are genuinely, aggressively arguing that the crew just packed those 11 tons of hundreds into a couple of Honda Odysseys right after the scene and drove them down to local homeless shelters to donate. I love this movie, but some of y'all have officially let the One Wish Willow take the brakes off your critical thinking skills. It was prop paper, guys. Calm down. #Obsession
