Bayzoo was struck multiple times in the torso and was pronounced dead after being rushed to the hospital. Two other victims, aged 39 and 42, were injured but survived. Previously cleared of a gang-related murder charge eight years earlier, Bayzoo was with two other men when gunmen approached and opened fire. The attack is believed to be gang-related, continuing the long history of violence tied to OTF, which has seen multiple members either killed or incarcerated. After the shooting, both suspects fled the scene on foot, getting into a vehicle and leaving the area. The investigation remains open, with no suspects in custody.
