No backpack at @Supercomputing this year? It's a shame. The SC backpack is an icon that transcends to other #HPC events. Many conversations start thanks to the SC backpack. Even flying to dallas and seeing SC backpacks in the plane meant that SC was close. It will be missed!

.@argonne's Aurora #exascale supercomputer is taking shape! Occupying 10,000 square feet of the ALCF data center, Aurora’s power and cooling infrastructure and the racks that will house the system’s 10,000+ nodes are now in place. @intelhpc @HPE

To help researchers prepare scientific applications for #exascale, we have deployed the Florentia test and development system. Florentia is equipped with early versions of the Sapphire Rapids CPUs and Ponte Vecchio GPUs that will power @argonne's Aurora supercomputer. @intelhpc
