@trader_munky I know you mentioned you care more about volume but the “amount” of volume is difficult to ascertain. So what makes you consider a stock as a good “volume” if there isn’t a cut off value? Also, does this put you at risk of missing plays because you may consider it as “low” volume

If you're asking me questions like "When should I buy?" "Is it done?" "Should I enter here?" I am just going to ignore you, simple as that. You're here for the wrong reasons. I only want people here who are willing to put in the work to learn how to recognize patterns and know when to take profit. Minimizing risk while maximizing gains. If you think i'm your cute little free alert service i'm not. I am usually playing anything I post, and trying to help you understand why I am playing them without having to tell you when and how to make decisions. I know today is just a down day for most and everyone is emotional. But nature of the game, tame your emotions manage risk, win.

For clarification, this will not be something that tells you what price to buy at and when to sell lol. This is simply going to be a quick tool you can enter your account size and the amount of risk you want (1%, 5%, etc.) and it would quickly do the math to tell you how many shares you should buy to maintain that amount of risk

@serwagmi1 Honestly there are probably hundreds of youtube videos from people explaining how to identify past support levels. I will probably write another article about it soon

Ok quick lesson. If you were in this, this morning and didn't take profit and you see a breakdown like this, you have to ask yourself. If the nearest support is $3. Can I stomach watching this bleed to $3. If not, cut it and and move on. Don't let gains bleed to nothing and then get emotional. Its the way the game works.If support fails, bounce or trim at least. If you can stomach it and it doesn't bother you then you are probably sized appropriately for your account size and you might can buy more later on and average down if you still believe the stock has potential. Just a quick lesson about know when to take profit.

Well investing vs trading are two seperate things. If I am looking to trade something I care more about volume than I do if I am wanting to invest in something. If I am trading pennies there is nothing better than high volume low market cap (sub 100M). Because it allows people to think in their mind the company could be undervalued. But the amount of volume needed, there is no concrete answer for that. I def don't trade anything with less than 5M shares traded for the day. Its too illiquid.

@trader_munky Point taken! Based on what you’ve experienced and learnt throughout the years, what is your determining factor on how you decide “this is the volume/MC I’m happy yo consider investing in this company”, hopefully my question makes sense

@serwagmi1 I scale back risk tremendously, and don't try and trade against the market. I may take one or two small trades, but mostly sit on my hands and sell puts in a few stocks I believe in that are down that i want to enter
