I think of what Joseph said after see God and Christ. “I knew it, and I knew that God knew it, and I could not deny it” Joseph was a prophet, this is Christ church, and I know I’m on the right path. There is nothing you could say to persuade me differently. I would venture there is also nothing I could say or show you to persuade you differently.

@HornsScottish @ApologiaStudios @Lets_Talk_HC Agreed. They decide to ignore that information. Not to mention the sole use of the modern Bible as authority. Saying the Bible hasn’t changed is a naive view. He used scriptures we agree with but see differently so his arguments were just hard to follow.

Why would Protestants break away from the medieval catholic church and keep their core theology, that is not much of a break, rejecting almost everything about a church and saying it is corrupt, and then keeping as it’s core theology a ancient anti-Hebrew; platoistic Greek philosophy that had infiltrated into the church that God is immaterial; without body parts or holy desires, very distant, mysterious and literally not related to mankind. They also shamelessly made edits to reflect their beliefs. That is why there are stark contradictions in the Bible about people seeing God and not seeing God. So if this medieval church doctrine and its leaders were so corrupt that they broke away at the pains of war…then why did those protestants keep the main doctrine of these leaders formulated in creedal councils by debate not revelation… and then exalt this post scriptural, non-canonized doctrine of: A immaterial, three in one God, without body, parts or desires far above the scriptures— that is a contradiction to sola scriptura in its fullness. This would be like America rejecting a king, nailing a constitution on the King’s door, and then keeping feudalism and serfdom.

Apologia Radio is Live!!! The Sad State of Mormon Apologetics This week we are engaging with online Mormon apologist Hayden Carroll. @Lets_Talk_HC has a history of misrepresenting his opponents and selling that misrepresentation to other #Mormons. x.com/i/broadcasts/1…

@Seth_1 Time for announcements to be in a newsletter or some other digital source. Classes should be focused counseling together, I think that’s what’s missing. The lessons should be less of a lecture and more of a directed counsel where we discuss what we learned and how we apply it.

What am I excited for with the new Block Schedule: I’m excited for the youth to meet weekly again. I believe that is sorely needed. - Also that it’s a curriculum based off of an updated For the Strength of Youth pamphlet. I’m also excited for the adults to meet weekly and it reduces confusion of what is happening. I’m just worried about the time. We can have announcements for 25 minutes, so I’m hoping everyone realized the shortage of time.

In advance of the upcoming general conference leadership session (April 2, 2026), The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced upcoming adjustments to the Sunday class meeting schedule to support members in their efforts to be lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ. The adjustments will strengthen gospel learning in homes and congregations throughout the world. Beginning September 6, 2026, the alternating weekly schedule for Sunday School and quorum or class meetings will be replaced. Under the updated schedule: • Sunday School, Relief Society, elders quorum, Young Women and Aaronic Priesthood quorum meetings will be held each week. • Sacrament meeting will continue to be 60 minutes, followed by brief transition periods. • Sunday School and quorum and class meetings will each be 25 minutes. • Primary will continue every Sunday and will be 55 minutes, held while adults and youth attend their respective classes. • Where local circumstances necessitate, units may begin with Primary and quorum and class meetings and conclude with sacrament meeting. @Seth_1 Also how Often is it that you have a significant percentage of your time taken up by business, new visitors introducing themselves and also just the slowness of members to actually sit down.

It’s official. I don’t know if I like it…. I mean it is what it is. I think it’s to short. We should just go to 2.5 hours or 3 hours. My 50 minute seminary lessons are too quick. 25 minutes will fly by.

“8 And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way. 9 And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.” -Matthew 21:8-9 x.com/Ch_JesusChrist…
