It appears that a Polymarket account called "Magamyman" made $515,000 in a single day betting on last night's U.S. strike on Iran, with the first trade placed 71 minutes before the news broke publicly. When this person bought in, the market had this at a 17% probability. They turned roughly $87,000 into over half a million dollars overnight. Reminder that Donald Trump Jr. sits on Polymarket's advisory board and his firm invested double-digit millions into the platform last year. The DOJ and CFTC both had active investigations into Polymarket that were dropped after Trump took office. Prediction markets cannot be a vehicle for profiting off advance knowledge of military action. We need answers, transparency, and oversight.

@AmericanAir Even the most intrepid business traveller wouldn’t be landing in Milwaukee in the evening, going to the airport hotel, back to the airport first thing in the morning, then San Antonio via Miami, then hotel again. makes no sense, unless of course that person worked on the plane.

@AmericanAir From there, things got strange… it got back on a @AmericanAir flight immediately the next morning, ended up in Miami, and then to San Antonio by the late afternoon. Again it left the airport and went to the hotel next door, and spent a second night. Who would travel like that?

@AmericanAir you are very hard to reach about a lost item on a plane. No one in your company knows how to contact a gate rep, ground ops, etc even though we have a tag that tells us exactly where it is.

I like @DouglasKMurray personally but on the Israel/Hamas war he’s like his friend Natasha, just a hyper-partisan hack who will defend anything Israel’s govt does, however indefensible. As for @ComicDaveSmith - he’s one of my favourite repeat guests… smart, funny & interesting.

On a roadtrip w/my boyfriend. Within 15 minutes of entering Mississippi we got pulled over for “improper lane use,” driving in the left lane instead of passing. Once pulled he says he needs my bf to step out of the car “for safety” bc there’s two of us and one of him

The irony is that Biden, after losing the support of everyone who opposed what Israel has been doing, will now lose the support of everyone who loves what Israel is doing. And all the while he facilitated a slaughter of historic proportions. For what?

@sethlitwin @iamBrianBJ @Columbia They don’t have to. They can bury their heads in the sand in they want. Their slight inconvenience in their privileged lives doesn’t compare to the despair and absolute horror these children are suffering. So they can’t expect to be prioritized over them.
