🦁I'm thankful and excited to share that I've been named the next athletic director at Harding Academy. I’m grateful for the opportunity to build on the legacy of alumni and former coaches and ADs, and I’m honored to serve and lead our current and future families and coaches.

🏆 Congratulations to our boys and girls track teams! Both teams represented us well at the 51st annual Bonner Relays. 🦁 We were honored to welcome Mrs. Sue Bonner and family to the meet named in honor of the late Coach Dee Bonner. 🥇 Our boys finished 1st, winning for the 7th time in the past 10 years. Gray Shatley was named the Most Outstanding Athlete of the meet. Jayden Mays added a victory in the pole vault. 🥈 Our girls finished in 2nd place, finishing in the top-2 for the 8th time in 10 years. The team was led by great performances from Brynne Miller and Mia Thompson.

I love this! These formational moments are part of what makes education-based athletics unique and important.

⚾️ The baseball season is underway! Our Lions opened the preseason with a victory in yesterday’s scrimmage. Coach Milligan gets his first preseason victory as our new coach!

🏀 Lions win! Our Lions defeat USJ, 78-50. Fred Martin leads the way with 26 points, 13 rebounds, 9 assists, and 6 steals. Kodi Brooks adds 21, Jevin Crochrell adds 18, and Ray Ivy adds 10. The Lions grab 15 steals and go 15-15 from the free throw line. We’re back in action Friday at 6:00 for the region semifinals at Trinity Christian.
