Years ago on X, when you opened your timeline, you would be impressed by how some Nigerians were building in tech. From 2016 to 2019, DSN changed the tech space entirely. We also saw many fintech companies spring up. The period from 2020 to 2022 was even crazier. But now, most of the youth coming up are focused on “Ratel” and “Obidient,” with IQ of less than 70; they can’t even think independently anymore. There is no one to change their mindset or encourage them to believe in tech or do something that can change their lives. They’ve been influenced to believe that all they need to do is wake up every morning, pick a side and abuse everyone just to make a token.

I finally redesigned the paywall, and my MRR shot up to $700. For me, paywall is far more important than onboarding screens. It is not just about asking users to subscribe; it is about clearly showing the value of the app, building trust, and helping users understand why the premium features are worth paying for. apps.apple.com/ca/app/wearit-…

In reality, staying 10 years as a data analyst is a waste of time. Secondly, it’s not worth learning in 2026. Despite being one of the easiest pathways into tech, someone who starts at the same time as an engineer in tech will be 10 steps ahead of you, unless you don’t care about growth.

Today, I received a delegation from British Airways, led by the Chief Commercial Officer Mr. Colm Lacy, at Lagos House, Marina. We had a good conversation as they marked 90 years of British Airways’ service to Nigeria. I appreciate the visit and the long standing relationship between both sides. Lagos State remains open to strong partnerships that support travel, trade, and deeper connections.

After spending so many years in the data analytics field, I’ve decided to take my software development skills very seriously. 7 years ago, an app that would take me 3 months to build, now in less than 3 days, I can get it done, ship it, and start making money.
