The First Angel
The first angel’s message is the same good news found in the rest of the Bible. It is not a different gospel. It is the same message about God and salvation, just given with urgency for the last days.
The angel says:
“Fear God, give Him glory, and worship Him… because the hour of His judgment has come” [Revelation 14:7].
This message is very simple, but very serious. It is a call to return to God.
What does “fear God” mean?
It does not mean to be scared. It means to respect God, take Him seriously, and honor Him as the highest authority.
What does “give Him glory” mean?
It means to live in a way that honors God. It also means being honest before Him, admitting our sins, and choosing what is right.
What does “worship Him” mean?
It means to put God first, above everything else. It means we obey Him, follow Him, and do not replace Him with anything or anyone.
All three go together:
When you truly respect God, you will honor Him,
and you will worship Him.
Why does the angel say this now?
Because “the hour of His judgment has come.”
That means God is now judging the world. This is not something in the far future. It is happening now. That is why the message is urgent.
What is true worship?
True worship means turning away from sin and coming back to God. This is called repentance.
When a person repents:
1. They respect God.
2. They obey His commandments.
3. They live honestly before Him.
Who should we worship?
The angel makes it clear:
Worship the Creator, not the creation.
“Worship Him who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and the springs of water.”
This points us back to creation, and to the One who made everything. It also reminds us of God’s law, especially the commandment about the Sabbath, which honors Him as Creator.
The first angel is saying:
1. Turn back to God.
2. Respect Him.
3. Live right.
4. Be honest with Him.
5. Worship Him as your Creator.
Because judgment is already happening.

It was an amazing experience 🤭
We go again today 🙏
Free salvation has been offered right from the beginning of our world, but sinners are dying daily without Christ.
Let's preach the gospel.
Thousands are without hope. Let people know the hope that is in Christ does not disappoint.

@RobertRolltide1 @DrShayPhD The veil tore from top to bottom, rent by an unseen divine hand.
It signifies that salvation is God’s work descending to man, rather than man’s effort climbing toward God.

@ericschurchnst8 Rivers of living water" (John 7:38) aren't just for us—they are meant to flow through us.
The receiver becomes a giver.
When we drink of His grace, we become a fountain for a "thirsty world".

Good morning, fellow believers. I don't wish to exclude anyone, but a skeptic wouldn't understand. This verse is about us having the Spirit of Jesus. It's what our Savior means by life when he says he is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
"On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, 'If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water."
This is the why and the how that we are able to share the Good News that Jesus is the Son of God and he died for us so that we might live forever.

@MMcLaughlinsong Amen.
From the tragedy of Abel to the chaos of today, rebellion has fueled the world's pain.
But the Cross changed everything!
Grace has the final word.
Jesus died to save us and is coming back to take us home.
"I will come again" (John 14:3).

@DrShayPhD When the veil tore, "type met antitype." riven by an unseen hand,
it signaled the end of the old sacrificial system.
The "shadows" of animal sacrifices vanished because the Great Sacrifice was finally made.
Direct access to God is now open to all.
English
@DrShayPhD The tearing of the thick temple veil represents the tearing of Jesus own flesh on the cross.
By His sacrifice, the gap created by sin is bridged, and the way to the Father is open for all.

@TheresaArueyin1 God says, 'My grace is sufficient for you'
(2 Corinthians 12:9).
When we are little in our own eyes, His power is made perfect.
Our weakness is united to His strength, our frailty to His enduring might.

@thompsonb2569 Amen! Praying the peace of God over your home today. Have a wonderful day, sister! 🕊️

Genesis 5 looks like just a genealogy. A whole list of difficult names to pronounce, that almost leaves the tongue numb. In Hebrew though, names carry meaning. When you can, try this. Line up the meanings of the names in Genesis 5, from Adam to Noah. You will discover that a message there. You, no doubt, have read the Bible many times and missed it. But, it is there.
Adam [man]
Seth [appointed]
Enosh [mortal]
Kenan [sorrow]
Mahalalel [the blessed of God]
Jared [shall come down]
Enoch [teaching]
Methuselah [his death shall bring]
Lamech [the despairing]
Noah [rest]
If you put the meaning of the names together, it says this:
Man is appointed mortal sorrow, but the blessed God shall come down, teaching that His death shall bring the despairing rest.
That, ladies and gentlemen, is the gospel. Right there, in a genealogy that most of us skipped, over and over and over again..This was written long before the cross, and long before the name Jesus showed up. Yet the message is already there, woven into the structure of the names.
The Bible is, as I said, not just a Book, it is a marvel.
