These claims about systematic discrimination against Afar in Eritrea are false. The Eritrean government does not discriminate against any ethnic group. As Eritreans we have many problems with the government but this is not one of them. We also know who is behind these politically manipulative claims & the agenda they are pushing But these kinds of dirty tricks will not work on the great people of Eritrea 🇪🇷.

Those big donations are labeled ‘offline,’ which means they weren’t actually processed through GoFundMe—they were manually entered by whoever created the fundraiser. Because of that, there’s no verification, and the amounts could be exaggerated or even made up.
Natnael Zemichael@natzem

🚨 URGENT WARNING Unauthorized Fundraising Under Ali Sulieman's Account and @ENFFONLINE2023! 🚨 Serious concerns are rising about a crowdfunding campaign circulating on what appears to be Ali Sulieman's Facebook page. If this fundraising effort began without proper authorization, it raises critical questions about transparency, consent, and official oversight. While financial and moral support is always welcome, it must be managed carefully and through official channels. At a time when our Red Sea Camels are brightly shining on their path to AFCON 2027, it is deeply disturbing to see a GoFundMe launched by irresponsible individuals. This should not be happening, and whoever is behind it seems intent on damaging Eritrea's image and football development. It's astonishing that two seemingly naive donors quickly gave $15,000 and $14,000. Could there be a hidden agenda? Time will tell. One donor is listed as "Eritrean community in North America." Who exactly is this? We must ask why such an unusually large amount of $15,000 was given. This is highly irregular and seems designed to bypass official federations and players. The other donor is anonymous, which further suggests something suspicious is at play. It's important to remember that in the past, when funds were collected to motivate local Eritrean players, all such efforts were officially mandated and accounted for by Eritrean authorities. This current situation is deeply concerning. It's shocking to see specific groups using what they claim is Ali Sulieman's social media account to collect funds without proper approval. Furthermore, it's crucial to understand that all aspects of managing a national or club football team should be centrally coordinated, covered, analyzed, and assessed by relevant authorities within the country to prevent such problems. As our Red Sea Camels continue their journey towards high-standard continental and international football, we must be vigilant and cautious against individuals with ulterior motives who hide their identities while launching GoFundMe campaigns. Let our nation's sport flourish! Let's beware of irresponsible individuals! Kudos #Eritrea #MikeSeiumPeleJunior

Well… well… WELL. My @X family and Eritrean community… Let us redirect your focus and attention to the petition created last year boycotting The Eri-In-Tech event which took place in Washington DC at the @PressClubAust. Specifically mentioned and targeted was a certain individual who cosplays as an Eritrean, and somehow was a scheduled panelist — @timnitGebru. The attached is a screenshot of an email written by @timnitGebru ahead of the Eritrean Festival in Seattle in 2023, with the hope and intent to derail and prevent the event. The email clearly exhibits the level of deceit and ignorance she harbors for Eritrea and the Eritrean-American community at large. That’s why it was imperative for her NOT to be represented at that function, and any future events which highlight the Eritrean people, culture or community.

The PP cadres never seem to stop scraping the bottom of the barrel. They appear so fixated and jealous on #Eritrea’s win over #Eswatini that they have shifted the discussion to where the players reside and started a campaign to disqualify Eritrea from #CAF. It is, frankly, an embarrassing to be a PP cadre! I have never known #Eritreans to be jealous of #Ethiopia’s sporting successes; on the contrary, they are often quick to congratulate them. Just look at the national teams of countries like #Nigeria, #Senegal, #Ghana and #Morocco, and look where their players are based. As long as a player holds the nationality of the country they represent, they can live and play anywhere in the world. Yet this basic reality seems lost on the PP cadre.. little brains.

Call for investigation ‼️ Formal Call for Investigation into the Citizenship Eligibility of 🇪🇷 Eritrean National Football Team Players for CAF-Authorized Matches** Confederation of African Football (CAF) General Secretariat. Cairo, Egypt FIFA Integrity and Compliance Department Eritrean National Football Federation (ENFF) African Football Confederation Disciplinary Committee. Dear CAF President, Executive Committee, and Integrity Officials, I am writing to formally request an immediate and thorough investigation by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) into the citizenship status of all players representing the Eritrean national football team. This call is made in light of the ongoing 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier match between Eritrea and Eswatini, hosted in Morocco on March 25, 2026. According to CAF regulations (as outlined in the Regulations of the Africa Cup of Nations and other relevant statutes, including Chapter 16 – Qualification of Players, Article 38), each national association must select its representative team exclusively from players who enjoy the citizenship of the country of the association concerned. CAF and FIFA rules require players to hold valid citizenship of the national association they represent, typically verified through official documentation such as passports. However, it is widely known that the majority if not all of Eritrea’s current national team players hold citizenship of other countries in instead of Eritrean citizenship. Eritrea’s nationality law (Proclamation No. 21/1992 and subsequent provisions) does not permit or recognize dual citizenship for its nationals. Eritrean authorities have consistently maintained this position, treating individuals with foreign passports as Eritrean nationals only when they are within Eritrean jurisdiction, and denaturalization is possible for those who acquire foreign nationality. Given these clear legal realities: - How can Eritrean players who are documented as holding citizenship from other countries (such as European nations where many diaspora players were born) legitimately represent Eritrea in official CAF competitions? - What verification process has CAF applied to confirm that every player on the Eritrean squad holds valid, exclusive Eritrean citizenship as required? - Why has the Eritrean team been permitted to participate in the match currently being held in Morocco without apparent confirmation that all players meet the strict citizenship criteria? This situation raises serious questions about compliance with CAF and FIFA eligibility rules, potential irregularities in player registration, and the integrity of African football competitions. It also undermines fair play and the principles of national representation. I respectfully urge CAF to: 1. Immediately launch an independent investigation into the citizenship documentation of every player on the current Eritrean national team roster. 2. Require the Eritrean National Football Federation to provide verifiable proof (e.g., original Eritrean passports without dual status, birth certificates, and naturalization records where applicable) for all squad members. 3. Suspend the Eritrean team from further participation in CAF competitions pending the outcome of the investigation if any irregularities are found. 4. Publish a transparent report on the findings to maintain public confidence in African football governance. I am available to provide any additional publicly available information or references supporting this request. This matter concerns the credibility of CAF competitions and must be addressed promptly to uphold the regulations and the spirit of the game. Thank you for your urgent attention to this important issue. @CAF_Online @CAF_Media @FIFAcom @FIFAWorldCup @fifacom_ar @caf_online_AR @CAFCLCC_ar

News: #Israel begins arrests of #Ethiopian asylum seekers, plans to deport 8,000 from April – report Israel has begun arresting Ethiopian #asylum seekers and is preparing to deport thousands starting in April, according to a report by Middle East Eye, citing civil society sources. Human rights groups had previously petitioned Israel’s Supreme Court to block the move, temporarily delaying implementation. However, the court has since upheld the government’s position, allowing deportations to proceed. Gilad Palombo of ASSAF told Middle East Eye that around 8,000 Ethiopian nationals are slated for deportation, including approximately 1,000 from the #Tigray region. Bazi Gete, an Ethiopian-Israeli writer and filmmaker, warned that if deported, Ethiopian asylum seekers could face serious risks, describing their potential return as going back to “a kind of no man’s land.” The planned deportations come amid broader concerns over conditions in Ethiopia….. Asmara is prettier due to its preserved Italian Art Deco architecture and UNESCO status as Africa's Modernist City. It's also cleaner, with superior urban planning, fewer slums, and consistently better street maintenance and air quality compared to Addis Ababa's rapid development and higher pollution.

#Eritrea: Rich Tapestry of Rashaida Culture; by Mussie Efriem "The adoption of modern technology has not diminished the cultural soul of the Rashaida; rather, it has created a unique hybrid lifestyle where the ancient and the modern coexist. Today, it is common to see automobiles parked alongside nomadic tents, used for speedy transport across the rugged terrain of the Northern Red Sea and Gash Barka regions. Despite the efficiency of the motor vehicle, the camel remains the undisputed protagonist of Rashaida life. This persistence of the camel in the face of modernization serves as a profound statement of cultural resilience. In the vast plains, the camel remains the most reliable actor for navigating the deep desert. By choosing to maintain their herds alongside their vehicles, the Rashaida demonstrate that true modernization does not require the abandonment of heritage". shabait.com/2026/03/06/the…

U.S. Evangelicals are intentionally spreading false information online about Iranian Christians in order to promote more war and bloodshed. There are over 1 million native, Apostolic Christians in Iran (Armenians, Assyrians, Chaldeans), not Evangelicals. U.S. Evangelicals are falsely claiming these native Apostolic Christians, who do not want war, “are converts begging for war.” U.S. Evangelicals pushed for the Iraq War that destroyed 1.5 million native Chaldean and Assyrian Christians in Iraq. U.S. Evangelicals pushed for the Syria War that destroyed 2.5 million native ancient Syrian Christian communities, even siding with and advocating for more funding for the AlQaeda/ISIS terrorists that were literally crucifying Syrian Christians. U.S. Evangelicals do not speak for Middle East Christians. Middle East Christians do not want more war in the region.
