Potassium uptake is nearly parallel to nitrogen uptake, and the plant-to-plant comparison shows plant 1 is the only truly K-deficient plant of the five. It also had the highest leaf tissue K% of the five.

@Dusty3080467325 This has to be satire. No one can be this dramatic about walking a corn field 😂

With the pro farmer crop tour about to kick off you might be asking yourself… what’s the f*cking point? I know. I do every year. This will be my 10th tour in a row, 11th overall. That means my 10th year in a row spending my birthday and my kids first day of school away from home. Every year I say… it’s too much. I can’t go next year. I put so much extra stress on myself (than most other scouts) by taking on media obligations to update you guys. To post on here. And to keep my clients informed and help manage their accounts. It’s not easy work. And it’s usually hot af and/or storming. And apparently I’m allergic af to corn dust. And last year I cut my eye on a corn leaf pretty F’n bad… But every year I sign up again. And every year I take on the same responsibilities. Why? Because it’s honestly the best way I know to get an understanding of this year’s corn and bean crops outside of the USDA. And I’ve made some great friends, you should come sometime. It might not be perfect. And yeah, (like last year) things can change dramatically after the 3rd week of August. But I’ve never once seen anyone on tour cherry picking just to push a narrative. What these guys do is legit. The best we can. So I hope you’ll follow along. We do it for ourselves but we do it for you too. It’s my most loved and hated week of the year. So please remember to cut me (us) some slack. God bless you and yours. @ChipFlory #pftour25

Had to climb the windmill to get a better view of the sunflower forest. The titans grew extra tall with the rain this year.

Grain that doesn't fill the ear is a legitimate concern this year, according to Dana Harder, an agronomist who covers Missouri and west-central Illinois for Burrus Seed. He provides six explanations for why ears might fall short of filling completely, but sees a common thread this year: dtn.link/xgs3qj

RFK Jr. says reviving the President’s Fitness Test will reignite American pride, competition, and commitment to health. “In December of 1960, a month after he won the election, my uncle wrote an article for Sports Illustrated.” “He was lamenting the fact that America had prided itself on its beef jerky toughness and that we were losing that.” “We were falling behind Europeans, we were falling behind other nations.” “He was signaling with that article that he was going to make physical fitness of our kids the centerpiece of his administration.” “I'm so grateful to President Trump for bringing back this tradition.” “When we were kids you had to do sit ups, had to pull ups, had to do shuttle runs, and had to do one mile runs.” “They awarded the top 15% with a patch and with recognition and with certificates, and for me it was a huge item of pride when I was growing up.” “We need to reinstill that spirit of competition and that spirit and that commitment to nutrition and physical fitness.”

@zachw30 @OrvinBontrager We start switching to status or diflexx at about v3, but I’ve got a lot of unsafened dicamba out early. Still just mainly seeing it consistently in two varieties, and only seeing the significant issues in a few fields.

Any chance unsafened dicamba applied at V3 to V4 being somewhat a culprit to #tasselwrap? 16 years ago white corn rat tailed or tassel wrapped from too early dicamba plus diflufenzopyr. Especially if cooler rain period followed application.

@AGRPurdue1899 @Dusty3080467325 @DontBeWeakNGay I’m not trying to fool anyone. A large portion of the acres of 1742 I look at are having pollination issues. I hope it still yields well. It’s frustrating knowing you’re losing some bushels off of a very pricey product when margins are razor thin.
