@Volcanologist Exactly this. The creation of a middle agent in order to still have us find the right bookings, communicate it to them, then have to pay more money before ultimately having to spend additional time to solve the problems that they then create by not booking the travel correctly...

Great to talk to and exchange views with so many people at #FloodandCoast24 . Many conversations on our CIWEM- accredited MSc in Flood Risk Management, our Flood Recovery Groups, future research projects (and potential collaborations!).

Thunderstorms have followed me east to Nancy! Lots of lighting and rain - with some potential flooding :O best adaptation measure: have a beer and wait for it to all blow over!

Arrived in Paris yesterday in the midst of a "Super Cellulaire Orange" (supercell thunderstorm) with huge hailstones, flooded airports, and flooding through certain streets :O
