A video of one of the ways @MickabooRescue works to rehab wild parrots with neuro damage from rat poison.
April here was able to recover some use of her feet, but it took many months.
She was also scalped by a predator while she was sick. Her nickname is "Sunroof".

April got sick after eating rat poison in the city, and the nerve damage caused her feet to curl up. Some nice humans made her snowshoes to help straighten her toes out. Here she is giving them a try. Thanks to early rehab, April's now about to perch and climb like a champ.

While our flock is specific to SF, there are other wild parrots living in the Bay Area.
Here are Finley and Emerson, two baby parrots from the Sunnyvale/Palo Alto flock who are looking for a forever home with loving humans.

After we beat them for #OfficialAnimalSF, we wanted to show the sea lions that there weren't any hard feelings.
So we all flew over Pier 39 and pooped on them.
Which, as anybody knows, is the ultimate sign of love and respect from a parrot.
