@BradRTorgersen @JoeBiden I agree with this statement. This makes a lot of sense. It needs to start local-county-state-Federal. Even though the Federal Government can make sweeping changes they are still governed ($$$$$) by what happens in local and regional governments.

A few items: 1) Constitutional flat tax. 2) Constitutional balanced budget. 3) Put all Senators, Congressfolk, the President and Vice-President, etc., on stipends only. No more salaries. 4) All Senators and Congressfolk must spend 250 days a year living in the states/districts they represent, on their own dime. 5) All Senators and Congressfolk should be barred from public stock trading for the duration of their time in office. Effect these five things, and it will nudge the government back in the right direction. It won't solve all ills, but it will begin the process of fixing what must be fixed. Naturally, the (D)s will oppose all five, tooth and nail.

No one earning less than $400,000 a year will pay a penny more in federal taxes.
