@istvan_csanady What do you think about that blatant reason that there are less CAD drawing circling around on the internet than git version controlled code repos. So basically there is less data to train LLMs on. Same applies to CNC prgrammes. These are always big company secrets!

There is still no “design me a thing” text to CAD that works beyond a box with three holes. Why is that? You guessed right. It’s b-reps. Once again, boundary representation is the party pooper. There are a couple of issues: technological and conceptual.

if there was a CAD that could easily (== real time, no tricks, unique parts in an assembly) manage 10 million parts, how would that change the world?

I got so old that I have decided not to upgrade to the latest @apple ios. I didnt like windows vista when it got released. Also there are no "must have" features in the latest one even if they say "meaningful updates" in their release notes 🤣
