just turned 59 back in March… and I honestly can’t remember a single day of my life without a dog by my side. From the time I was a little kid until today, these loyal, loving creatures have been my constant companions through every season of life. I truly can’t imagine living without one. What an incredible blessing from God! 🐶🙏 Thank You, Lord, for the unconditional love of a good dog.

My dog is gonna go to doggy heaven today! She’s a 15 year old Golden Retriever! We think she had a stroke a couple days ago. Just wanted to let you all know Maggie was the goodest girl that ever was. So gentle, so sweet and affectionate, she loved swimming and treats, she loved the beach and looking at my chickens. She sometimes caught bunny babies and held them in her mouth then let them go unharmed. She was the goodest girl And when I get to heaven I hope she runs to me!

@BCFPresident Just like in a Presidential election in Texas that poll worker said only initials required vs. full signature. She was not back to work the next election, thank goodness!

This morning I went to vote NO at the HOPE WAY polling site in Alexandria. While checking in, I mentioned I may need to grab my driver’s license from my car. An election worker (Robin is her name) told me, “You don’t need your ID, we can verify you, you’ll be fine.” I responded, no I need my ID. After finding it, I checked in and said clearly that everyone should show ID. That’s when the worker began arguing, saying “not everyone has ID, some can’t afford it, there are many reasons why.” That’s not just inappropriate, it’s electioneering from a poll worker. Totally unacceptable.
