Due to some unexpected internal matters, ALL SWG meetups have been cancelled until further notice. This account will go on private until the matters are resolved.

@DennaHintze @LEBassett Made the same mistake in Buenos Aires. Was told, if you can’t take the time to drink coffee in a cafe perhaps you need to prioritize your life. Ouch.

At the Toulouse airport, just watched a woman try to order oat milk in English for her coffee. Barista kept hearing “hot milk.” Emotions escalated to the point where I had to intervene and explain what oat milk was, and this French man was absolutely pissed to learn it exists

“A fairly boring thought in a character’s head can work better than a brilliant one, and a brilliantly laid out structure can be so much worse for a story than one that is more haphazard.” —Ann Beattie theparisreview.org/interviews/607…

Apologies, I am going to be going on about this a bit. This is for writers - beginners or otherwise - who are stuck somewhere in the process and desire editorial intervention and wish to learn the skills required to redraft their work better. It will be a small online workshop.
