Another morning to remind you all that Nusaiba sent her daughter to St. Lious secondary school to get quality education but instead they returned a dead child to her and instead of given true accounts of what lead to her being killed they’ve lawyered up.

I'm at a point in my life where I pray to keep meeting the right people. People who genuinely want the best for me, hold me in high regard, and add peace to my life.

I'm forever praying that i get my fairytale ending, the dream career, the financial freedom, the friends, the family, the peace, the love, just everything that i truly & genuinely deserve.

adulting really humbles you. i finally understand why some people go quiet, stop posting, or just disappear from social media.

Anything above 2 missed calls is violation of my human rights.

Ya Allah, please do not test us through our children. Grant us the wisdom, strength, and patience to correct their wrongdoings, and do not let the love we have for them blind us to the truth or prevent us from guiding them on the right path.

When your intuition tells you to stay away from certain people, listen.

No matter how much you love your person, you need to be your own person. Have your own hobbies, your own friends, your own time, your own fun. Endeavor to be your own person.

One of the best things you can do for yourself in adulthood, is to learn how to leave things alone. Just leave it alone. Situations, people, whatever it is, leave it alone.

some things don't go back to normal, even after an apology. once you've seen how someone can hurt you, you can't unsee it. you can forgive, and even laugh together like nothing happened, but a part of you will always remember how it felt, and that changes everything.
