Seasoned pros: I've seen your skills, STEP UP & MENTOR the next gen! I joined @shackspace seeking hackers and potential mentors for pro exchange, then existential crisis hit (2022 move: [stuttgarter-zeitung.de/gallery.raum-f…]). I stepped up as Chair, we rebuilt. Became Grand Host @hackthebox_eu (the only one in Germany at this time), hosting at the new shack ever since! All non-profit! What I learned: It doesn't take many people to achieve something. Just a few makers! Tag a pro you'd mentor!

The exciting evolution of the Hack The Box meetup scene in Germany kicked off with Stuttgart’s thriving onsite meetups @shackspace and now Leipzig is taking flight. Frankfurt and Hamburg are on the horizon. As Leipzig's Meetup Buddy and with guidance from Hack The Box’s Senior Community Associate, Orestis Fotou, and alongside Leipzig’s host Philipp Dost, we crafted the first online meetup for Leipzig. Drawing from  Stuttgart’s on-site experience, we designed an engaging online format, joined by 4 Stuttgart members - @mathiasconradt and @FabseHack among them - alongside 12 total participants. This reflects our mission to create a space for growth for pro's and beginners and make cybersecurity training accessible and fun. As HTB Grand Host and chairman of the Stuttgart hackerspace, i am commited on a non-profit basis.
