The Portuguese midfielder is willing to take a significant pay cut to join Barça, around 60% less than his current salary at Manchester City. A few details still need to be finalized, and Hansi Flick will make the final decision. As things stand, Flick is open to the move ONLY if there are departures in midfield (such as Marc Casadó and another player like Tommy leaving on loan). At the moment, Bernardo Silva would be the only midfield signing, and only if exits are confirmed (which is expected to happen)…. No other midfielder is expected to arrive.
