Three 16 year old Indian students can remove microplastics from water using tamarind seeds. And they've received a $12,500 grant from The Earth Prize to develop this solution. How did they do it? Tamarind seeds have something called polysaccharide - which is a sticky compound that can natural polymer. Kinda like a plant-based glue. This glue when mixed with water can pull out microplastics and clump them together. And these kids are using the same principle to develop their product called "Plas-Stick" - which is just this power made from waste tamarind seeds. Now, "Plas-Stick" is still in its developmental stage and there is a lot that needs to be done before it can be scaled. But if they pull this off - we could have a simple, biodegradable and scalable solution to purify water for billions of people in the world. And that's something. Kudos to Vivaan Chhawchharia, Ariana Agarwal, and Avyana Mehta. P.S. Video and Picture taken from @TheEarthPrize

@Wetgvddt @BhartiyNiveshak @sidhant Oh just saw the reference now. I'm not racist against Indians I'm literally just telling you facts about your country. Your rivers are filled with garbage and your people love in trash and disease. You'd think that a nuclear power would pull themselves out of third world squalor

No one received Rubio upon arrival in India. Misri giving a cold shoulder—walking around nonchalantly with one hand in his pocket—while Jaishankar openly discussed Russia in his presence. India has reciprocated well to the US. @Sidhant’s question on racism was spot on; Rubio was clearly caught off guard. A tougher question on China buying Russian oil without tariffs would have been ideal, but this was still good. The only issue was allowing Rubio to meet PM Modi on the very first day for such a long, direct meeting. It should have been kept for the end as a purely ceremonial call and photo op. India may have scheduled the early meeting to soften him up before delivering the bamboo. And it was not only in India. 7/10

This is probably the best look at the shockwaves I’ve seen from the latest Starship flight. Captured from a GoPro I clamped onto a proper camera to record simultaneous video. (I’ll show you the photo the better camera took in the reply)

Tamil Nadu Temple Carvings Go Viral For Depicting Pregnancy Centuries Before The Modern X-Rays Around 800 years ago, Indian architects and sculptors created an astonishing depiction of a fetus inside the womb at the Sri Sundara Kamakshi Temple in Siru Karumbur. The sculpture remarkably shows a baby positioned inside the mother's womb with striking anatomical clarity resembling what modern scans reveal today.

Something nobody's connecting: India's fertilizer production hit 62.37 lakh tonnes in just Mar-Apr 2026 while West Asia is in full crisis mode. Imports were only 15.39 lakh tonnes. Five years ago we'd have been panicking. This time the plants kept running. Quiet wins don't trend. But domestic urea capacity going from deficit to near self-sufficiency might be the most underrated industrial story of the decade.

I’m an NRI born & residing in Hong Kong. 7 years ago, I put my money on India to start manufacturing and exports. So when I read posts like this, I honestly laugh. Is the system perfect? No. Are there delays sometimes? Yes. Do problems happen? Of course. But this “every shipment needs bribes” story is complete nonsense. We have been exporting from Bharat for 7 years now. Most containers are never even opened. There are proper systems, registrations, trusted exporter schemes, and processes for faster clearance. Yes, the first few months can feel confusing. GST, IEC, bank setup, approvals. Paperwork does exists. But after that? Things become smooth. And every year it just gets better. People sitting outside India love calling Bharat “impossible for business.” Meanwhile 1000s of manufacturers here are quietly building global companies every single day. If India was really this broken, exports would not be growing year after year. Truth is simple: People who fail in Bharat blame the system. People who stay, learn the system, build patiently and usually win big. So if you want to start manufacturing or exports in Bharat, don’t get scared by such ragebait sensational hit job posts. There are obstacles. But the opportunity is far bigger than the obstacles. And if you have cold feet, DM me. I’m an open book. More than happy to share: * my real experience * practical ways to get things done * mistakes to avoid * contacts and guidance wherever I can help Because Bharat is still one of the biggest opportunities in the world for builders. Build in Bharat🇮🇳💪

India trains the engineer. America files the patents. Gurtej Sandhu was raised in Amritsar and trained at IIT Delhi. He now holds 1,299 US patents at Micron, Edison topped out at 1,093. Sandhu is the 7th most prolific inventor in American history. His titanium nitride deposition work is why every DRAM cell in your phone and every GPU training a foundation model actually holds charge. Micron, Samsung, and SK Hynix own 95% of global DRAM. None of them are Indian. We export the inventor. We import the chip.
