During our meeting, I officially declared my intention to run for the House of Representatives to represent the good people of Etsako Federal Constituency, and he graciously gave us his blessings and words of encouragement. As we continue this journey, may God and the universe favor our cause as we work towards a better future for our people. Amb. Had a strategic meeting in Fugar with the Etsako Central Chairman of NDC, Hon. Sylvanus Aliu. We had extensive discussions on nation-building, grassroots politics, and practical strategies for strengthening and expanding the NDC across the local government. I also officially made my intention known to him regarding my ambition to contest for the House of Representatives seat for Etsako Federal Constituency. I look forward to a formidable partnership and strong collaboration across the LGA as we journey towards the primary elections. Umanu Elijah Ojochenemi Ochuwa, hereby officially declare my intention to contest for the position of Member, House of Representatives, Etsako Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections under the platform of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). This decision is not driven by personal ambition alone, but by a burning desire to serve, uplift our people, and create opportunities for the next generation. For years, I have remained committed to grassroots development, youth empowerment, education, community service, and human capital development across Etsako land and beyond. As a youth advocate, I have consistently used my platform to promote community development and inspire young people to believe in themselves. While everyone were attending the NDC Convention in Abuja, I was in my hometown of Ifeku Island, Etsako Central, Edo State, laying my beloved grandmother to rest. 😭🕊️💔
