The One World One Family Mission, under the leadership of Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai, proudly presented the Voice of the People Award to outstanding communicators who use their words, platforms, and conviction to uphold truth, protect culture, and speak for those who cannot speak for themselves. This award is a tribute to the sacred role of media, literature, and advocacy in shaping a more compassionate world, rooted in the ideal of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — the world is one family. The One World One Family Mission is honoured to present the Voice of the People Award to Professor Shailja Singh @shailjasingh75, a pioneering molecular parasitologist whose translational research in malaria and leishmaniasis is transforming global health outcomes. As a leading scientist at Jawaharlal Nehru University @JNU_official_50 (JNU), her groundbreaking work on nanomedicine-based Artesunate therapy and parasite biology has opened new frontiers in antimalarial drug development. A recipient of the National Bioscience Award and the GYTI Award presented by the Hon’ble President of India, she continues to lead cutting-edge collaborations with global institutions like Institut Pasteur and the NIH-funded ICEMR programme.
