Pakistan has instructed all markets, malls and shopping areas across the country (except Sindh) to shut down by 8pm today onwards as part of their energy conservation plan. All restaurants as well as marriages to close by 10pm. Medical stores and pharmacies to operate normally.

Big news! Prime Minister announces reducing levy on petrol by Rs 80 per liter. The new petrol price is Rs 378 per liter.

Why is Government giving subsidy? First of all they increased levy and then they started to give subsidy for same amount :D They are making a fool out of people. Imagine increasing Rs. 75 and giving no subsidy to increasing to Rs.134 and giving subsidy to make it look good for voters.

PML-N has fully accepted that they are a Punjab party and they will focus on their primary voter base.Punjab has the fiscal space and the infrastructure to give such subsidies to the people.The Fed Gov hiking up prices and the Punjab Gov giving subsidies appeases the Punjab voter

@KazmiWajahat From where are you getting these numbers? On 28th Feb price was 268 today its 458, isn't that a simple maths?

As compared to other countries, Pakistan has made least increase in the Diesel price since the start of the Iran war in the Middle East despite being highly dependent on Gulf for the oil. Pakistani government also shouldered the burden by itself for many weeks.

The blatant lies from PTI regarding the GSP Plus controversy are completely exposed. They claim innocence, yet Imran Khan's sons and Zulfi Bukhari shared an agenda with known anti state proxies actively plotting against Pakistan. Willingly sabotaging national textile exports and millions of jobs just to salvage one man's politics is not patriotism. It is a calculated assault on the state.

@KazmiWajahat I have heard this terminology before I guess in 2020? Yes, thats when a person said no to lockdown and introduced smart lockdown. Thats exactly when SS came from UK and told media that there will be thousands of deaths if complete lockdown is not placed.

If something doesn't match with the reality, it's either lie or fictional. All those things are fiction. But if real names are used, truth or not, they can be convicted.
