ALSO why was jax’s relationship with gangle hardly explored?? it was implied in the show and in goose’s drawings that gangle and jax used to always partner up. jax knows about the figurine thing somehow.

@fwmann1e They seem to be very isolated, with the swampbenders not even knowing there were other waterbenders outside the swamp. Rava probaly felt the Avatar shouldn't be isolated, and we saw how much that harmed Korra because she never got to connect with all 4 nations like other Avatars
