Troops neutralise two terrorists, destroy hideouts in Plateau clearance operations
By: Zagazola Makama
Troops of Operation Enduring Peace (OPEP), under Operation Wutan Daji, have neutralised two suspected terrorists and destroyed several hideouts during clearance operations in Wase Local Government Area of Plateau.
Security sources said the operations were carried out in conjunction with local vigilantes across Babangida, Adua and Bokayi villages within the Dutsen Zaki forest.
It was gathered that troops made contact with the terrorists along the Babangida–Adua road, leading to a gun battle in which two of the suspects were neutralised, while others fled with possible gunshot wounds.

I really hope this video goes viral and the Nigeria Police Force sees this and does something about it.
This happened in Abulado, Lagos. Me and my guy @ehispascal were on a bike when four officers stopped us. We came down peacefully, no issues at all. One officer was talking to me, another to my guy. Everything was calm. They were asking questions and we answered calmly because we had nothing to hide.
They asked me to open my phone, and I didn’t hesitate because I didn’t want any problem. Suddenly, out of nowhere, one man came from behind and slapped me. Even the officer checking my phone was shocked and asked what just happened.
At that moment, I didn’t even know he was a police officer because he wasn’t in uniform. Out of anger, I reacted and slapped him back and even tried to confront him. That’s when the others held me and told me he was an officer. That’s when I realized everything was already planned.
Next thing, all of them started beating us. It was bad. My guy’s face even got swollen. They then threatened to take us to the station. I told them no problem, let’s go, but the officer who slapped me must come along too.
I told them when we get to the station, they would know who my father is. They kept asking for his name, but I refused and said they would find out at the station.
That’s when they got scared. Instead of taking us to the station, they drove us to a bridge, dropped us there, and told us to go.

OPERATION ENDURING PEACE INTENSIFIES SECURITY MEASURES TO CURB ESCALATION OF TENSIONS WITHIN JOS METROPOLIS
In a proactive move to prevent further escalation of the ongoing crisis in Jos North, troops of Operation ENDURING PEACE, initiated a comprehensive stop-and-search exercise across the Jos metropolis on Friday. This strategic intervention is part of a broader mandate to restore absolute normalcy and ensure the safety of lives and property within the State.
The heightened security presence yielded immediate results as troops successfully intercepted and arrested 2 suspects as well as recovered one fabricated AK-47 rifle along with four rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition and one pump action with a cutlass. The arrest and recoveries were made during targeted operations conducted across key flashpoints and transit routes, including Jos North and Jos South, along Dadinkowa, the Old Airport Junction, Tudun Wada, and the State Low-cost housing estate.
In a simultaneous development, troops also responded swiftly to a distress call regarding sporadic shooting in the Yelwa Cattle Market area of Shendam. Upon arrival of the troops, the unidentified gunmen were forced to retreat into the surrounding bushes under superior tactical pressure. During a subsequent sweep of the immediate vicinity, troops discovered two local residents who had sustained gunshot wounds. The victims were immediately evacuated to a nearby medical facility for urgent treatment.
The Command reiterates its unwavering commitment to maintaining a dominant security presence throughout Plateau State. The operations will continue with increased vigour until the threat of violence is completely neutralized and lasting peace is firmly re-established across all affected Communities.

THE NIGERIAN POLICE ARE THE WORSE THINGS ON EARTH
Just got stopped with my brother at Coastal Road for the issual police stop.
Now here’s where it gets crazy
They don’t want to hear anything, they just took the keys and drove us to this police division
In the image below you can see how dark this place is (the third image)
More than 10 vehicles have been impounded here for no reason, with the police officers demanding 300k for each vehicles there. We ended up paying to get out of that mess (the second image)
These officers have no means of identification, no name to identify them, nothing
These guys are criminals hiding under the tag Police

JTF Arrests Two Suspects Masquerading as Security Operatives
Troops of the Joint Task Force (JTF), Operation ENDURING PEACE, have arrested two suspects masquerading as security operatives in Plateau State, in what authorities describe as a major step toward restoring peace in the area.
The operation was carried out late Thursday night at Dutse Uku in Jos North Local Government Area, following a distress call over sporadic gunfire within the community.
At about 11:45 p.m., troops swiftly responded and intercepted two individuals posing as security personnel.
The suspects, who were dressed in black tactical uniforms, were allegedly caught engaging in acts of arson and coordinating violent activities in the area.
Their actions are believed to have contributed to the recent unrest in parts of Jos North. They are currently in custody and undergoing further investigation.
Meanwhile, two individuals who sustained gunshot wounds during the incident were promptly evacuated to a medical facility, where they are receiving treatment and are reported to be in stable condition.
This development has helped to dispel allegations of military involvement in the unrest, indicating that criminal elements disguised as security operatives are responsible for the violence.
The JTF reaffirmed its commitment to protecting lives and property and restoring lasting peace in Plateau State.
