@DerokCFC @SS____899 It's not that simple. He has already played 60 matches for us this season and is a regular starter for national team. That is a sign of potential big injury. Any player will try and get as much as they can while they are in their prime.

Just too slow to cover a lot of space. Our midfield gets outrun a lot when he's in a double pivot which is why he's playing as a 10 and played there all season. Do you watch Chelsea and see that Enzo has played 10 all season or just love to complain?

Enzo Fernandez’s future, despite having his best season in front of goal for the club, is the ‘biggest’ question mark in Chelsea’s squad. Chelsea want to add more maturity and leadership to their squad and, in that sense, Fernandez’s disciplinary record and his decision to air some of his complaints in public could count against him. The important caveat is that one of 2 starting-calibre signings would have to be a midfielder who can replace Enzo Fernandez, but that would be a good position to introduce a new leader in the squad.
