@psb_group But after VAR review the foul was outside the box so no penalty but it turned out they decided there wasn’t enough defensive cover and it was a goal scoring opp….so red card….but confusing as hell! 😅

@psb_group I think initially the call was that he fouled him in the box so it was a penalty but there was cover from another defender so it wasn’t a definite goal scoring opportunity…so that means penalty and a yellow…

Im lost on these rules wtf. Canada win a pen and the defender gets a yellow card, VAR change it to a free kick and that then means it’s a red not a yellow. Surely it’s a red if it’s a pen. That is a weird rule
